BIOGRAPHY

 

Emmy Award Winner Peter Morse has designed and directed lighting for the performance environment (concert, theater, video, feature film) for the past 45 years, and has worked with some of the world’s best performers and their astonishing productions.

 

Among the critically acclaimed tours with which he has collaborated: 

Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, Bette Midler, Madonna, Prince, Usher,

Christina Aguilera, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Andrea Bocelli, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, ZZ Top, AR Rahman, Lionel Richie, The Eagles, Tina Turner, Sean Combs, Mariah Carey, The Bee Gees, John Denver, Paula Abdul, “We Are The World” and many more.  

He has designed numerous production shows such as "Glee" On Tour, "Dancing With The Stars”, “So You Think You Can Dance”; "Disney on Ice", "Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey’s Greatest Show On Earth", and “The One-Grand Show” at Berlin’s Friedrichstrasse Palast; as well as feature films: "The Bodyguard"; "Showgirls"; and "Truth or Dare."  

 

Peter has always appreciated the expression of design as a sampling of art and culture, and has found inspiration in many mediums as well as in many collaborations.  He has enjoyed working with many of the leading Directors such as Jamie King, Amy Tinkham, Raj Kapoor, Barry Lather, Kenny Ortega, Vince Patterson, Mandy Moore.

Designers: Mark Fisher, Butch Allen, Michael Cotton, Jeremy Railton, Steve Bass, Jeffrey Beecroft as well as gifted entertainment technicians too numerous to count. 

 

Peter's work has been recognized with numerous awards and nominations including, among others:
